About the MD5 Collision Database
This site provides a mechanism for reverse MD5 lookups with an ever growing hash database and is currently the only reverse lookup database to feature salted hashes. Message Digest Algorithm 5 is a one way hashing algorithm. This site indexes collisions of MD5 hashes and allows you to look up potential plain text versions of an MD5 hash, a MD5 reverse lookup. Please note that it does not "decrypt" MD5 hashes as an MD5 hash is not an encrypted version of the original message. For information on what we have pre-hashed please see the statistics page.
This site is privately owned and funded. If you believe you could contribute anything to the project (hardware, software, hosting etc.) then please get in touch with me. I am also looking for volunteers to help generate the database. This involves running a Windows program for approximately 10 hours and then uploading 15-50gb of data per set.
